The project Geometry Education for Future Architects brings academics and students of six countries in central and south-eastern Europe together to exchange their knowledge on geometry, mathematics and visualization, to experiment with new teaching methods and to explore new pathways towards geometry education for becoming architects.
In an ongoing process teaching staff and researchers of all GEFFA partners come together to discuss their ideas, methods and topics on geometry education. This network was set up in a kickoff meeting in Belgrade.
A milestone of this process was the GEFFA Summer School 2012. In Rijeka, Croatia more than 80 participants, most of them students were giving and taking 14 classes in architectural geometry.
On this website this process and especially the methods and outcomes of the workshops held at the Summer School will be documented to inspire new modes of geometry teaching.
And the current and future activities of the GEFFA-network will also have their basis on this website.
